ABOUT SHAWN

Shawn's training and influences hail from real heavyweights of the sculpting world, 'Rodin'- 'Bourdelle' - 'Josefina De Vasconcellos'. Shawn was pupil and assistant sculptor to local Ambleside and world renowned 'Josefina de Vasconcellos'.....who was pupil to the famous 'Bourdelle'.....who was assistant sculptor to one of the true Gods of sculpting, 'Rodin' who will always be remembered for his most iconic work, 'The Thinker'.


All the different styles, ideas and influences have been passed down through the ages and these powerful connections to Shawn. He endeavours to take all this forward from a great period in art history and build on it with his own vision whilst incorporating the vast knowledge of his peers.
